I like the ideas guys.
And I'm not looking for much, maybe 200rms and an 8.. 10 if I can fit it. Shallow mount enclosure.

Mine is exactly what you need to be quite honest. I do not have the exact measurements in front of me, but the box is approximately 42" in length, 10" high with a 1" lip on one end which is where the 10" Kenwood woofer is mounted, and then the width is about 14". I left my spare tire and everything where it was because you never know when a flat may occur. Unless of course you have aftermarket wheels that are not the same size. There is a smal hole drilled on the opposite side of where the speaker is mounted to allow for the 10 gauge wire to be ran (the hole should be no bigger than the wire thickness). The box is not hard mounted to anything. I trimmed the spare tire cover exactly to allow the box to sit on the metal trunk floor to enable it to act as a barrier to prevent movement. My amp which I believe is 500 watts, is hard mounted to the floor and the cover is trimmed around it as well to allow for ventilation. Its a very clean look and no room is lost. If I get a flat, I just lift the box out and remove the cover and I have access to my spare.
