The only retune that is required for the catless downpipe is a CEL delete for malfunctioning cat because it won't be there.

Finally got it done. My dremel wasn't fully charged so I spent like 5 ****ing hours grinding down. 5 minutes to charge, 15 seconds of grinding. Ah well. Got it done. I was terrified when I started it up, because it was misfiring BAD. Like, running on one cylinder bad. I forgot it just takes a second to adjust to the increase in air. All is well in the running department now.

I haven't taken it out for a test yet. Like a moron, and because no job I ever do can just be simple, I broke the charge pipe/throttle body clamp. Gotta go get a new one tomorrow.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. It seems like it's slower to return to idle, and I don't feel any sort of power difference. Interesting though, while the power feels the same, I only hit 18 PSI.

Sounds like an intake leak.....which would be a very reasonable diagnosis for both of those symptoms.

I saw no loss in my boost pressure. Check all the hose connections, and if that doesn't do it, you may want to check that the manifold is sealing properly.
