Has anyone installed them yet? Any videos? I check YouTube but who knows. Really interested in buying these to make my exhaust louder and grab some HP maybe.

delete the cats all together with the down pipe and test tubes. you need the tune for the down pipe to clear the CEL.

This is what I want to do but I'd need the DDM test pipe and what other tubes? Just have someone weld something? I'd for sure be able to pass emissions with a tune?

Get the test pipe or have a shop make you a test pipe. It will be cheaper and more beneficial to flow.
If your running an otherwise stock exhaust there will be no noticable sound change. If you have a cat back it will be marginally louder and you might here more turbine noise.
I got a lot more turbo noise after the catless down pipe and open exhaust after the 2nd cat

I thought the second 02 bung was for a wideband. The computer will still see a lack of emmsion reductions at the second sensor.
1. I'm thinking you can pass emissions without the 2nd cat. My reasoning is the 2nd O2 sensors sole function is to monitor emisions, if they become worst than what is legal it throws a code. It only monitors the first cat so my logic is emisions have to be legal after that and the 2nd cat is for dropping emissions farther. (Maybe the ecm accounts for a second drop in emis but I see this as problematic on several fronts)
2. Depending on how emision testare performed in your area and how thorough the techs you may get by with no cats and a tune with the CEL delete. If its only a light check your good, actual gas sniffer test you fail, light and visual check is iffy.

I live in Ohio and we need cats to pass, so I need to figure this out lol. I want to go catless, but will I get pulled over for having an exhaust that's too loud? With this test pipe, I hopefully can pass with a tune.

If you're running the stock exhaust and the test pipe you can't tell a difference at all and I believe there isn't much more noise added with the test pipe and cat back. I think most people are getting their noise increase when they remove both cats. You won't get any engine codes with the test pipe becuase like stated above it does not have any sensor so the ECM does not monitor it.

I live in ohio and i dont have any emissions tests to worry about. my car before my sonic was a 2000 Pontiac sunfire and i had no CAT on it because it kept blowing them so i just ran without one. never had any trouble from the cops. was it loud, oh yeah. that thing sounded like a beast. hauled ass too. ran it til it died. Then I Bought my Sonic. But it really depends your area and whether or not your Towns police are jerks or tend to let people be.
Id say just go with the 2nd CAT Delete and run the rest towards the engine as is. then upgrade your exhaust from the 2nd CAT delete back. That way you dont have to worry about passing emissions if you have to be tested. At least you will have the main one in tact yet then. the 2nd CAT seems to me to be just a waste of metal. I want more sound, and I know a 2nd cat delete should help, that's why I'm doing this. Keep in mind I already have a Borla Catback on it right now.

Well I have a 1.8 so I really don't have a downpipe. That's why I'm just going to get the test pipe and delete the 2nd cat and tune.
that same test pipe should work right?
