Went just past a driveway I needed to turn into with the car aiming downhill. Put it into reverse to back up the few feet I needed to turn in and lo and behold the hill assist held me there the few moments until the clutch engaged nicely. I did not know it worked in reverse.
I've grown to like the hill assist. I've driven a MT for 35+ years so I know how to start on a hill, but I do have to say the hill assist is helpful.
