My Ultragauge shows between 10 and 16 PSI, depending on what gear and how close the pedal is to the ground. It does seem to limit boost in first gear though which I know other cars do like the Cobalt SS and Mazdaspeed 3/6. Can anyone confirm since the other cars are more sports cars and the Sonic is more for economy.
Although this sounds contrarian, the OEMs are doing this so that the car feels "consistent" regardless of weather conditions. Gone are the days of going out on a nice cool dense evening and having your car feel faster.
on my UG it hovers around 10 PSI but if it is cool outside it will rarely hit 11-12 psi
we need some 28psi madness pretty soon, 14 second quarters baby hahahaha
