Been legally driving over forty years. Fastest car I ever owned was a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix, 400 CI and 350 or so HP and turbohydramatic 400 transmission. Most reliable car I ever owned 1992 Toyota Corolla. Most fun car so far Krypton Green Premier Hatchback RS. The Grand Prix was scary fast straight away and sounded like pure power. Sonic is more fun on a windy road with the heated seats turned on and the Sirius radio playing. Pontiac had a Holley 750 double pumper with Edelbrock intake. Legal to put headers on back then. Think they were Hookers. No Cold Air intake back then or turbos, but Pontiacs were feared. Gas was cheap and octane was high. Peace be with you! Bought my Sonic October of 2017. Price was too good to pass.

I was 51 when I bought the car. I got it because I like station wagons and hatchbacks. I had a 92 Geo Metro. When it finally died, I bought the sonic as a more modern version. Im still having trouble adjusting to losing 18mpg though.

I’ve joined other so called car forums that are wrought with cyber bullying.
I am new to this one and from what I’ve read it reminds me of back in the day where we helped each other for a beer and a slice of pizza! NOT MONEY
I started working on cars with the family when my ass would come off the seat bleeding brakes. Model A Fords and Pontiacs were our specialty.

Pontiacs. . .. good memories of those. Owned 4 of those. The most fun two were an '85 Fiero GT 2M6 and the '91 Firebird. But the most memories were in my buddy's '68 with the big block.
The "Red Rampage" Sonic Harchback we now have is a "3rd" car wife and I use for a day trip fun vehicle. Not driven in winter so far. At 70, I finally decided to forget the Harley and ride something wife and I could both enjoy even if it rained.
This little Sonic is a hoot to drive especially with the better tires I put on it within a week of buying it and only 100 miles on it.
