Ignition Coil Clip

I broke the clip off the connector for the ignition coil, will it stay on without it? It seems like its snug on its own?

I pulled the orange locking piece out, and depressed the black tab and the connector wouldn't budge. Tried to pry with 1 screwdriver and it wouldn't come off. Used 2 screwdrivers which left no hand to depress the tab and it broke.

A Dab of Silicone RTV will help ensure it does not vibrate off. Keep it away from the wires, just a small amount at edge of housing.
