In the previous post Scott Settlemire (fbodfather) answers the question about a specific CTF and the link in this one answers the question in general.
A VIN with X can not be sold and Chevy requires witnesses to it is crushed. I may be wrong about a car with an X in the VIN being revinned, I admit my memory is imperfect, but if a find a thread explaining how it is done, I will be back.
Hopefully before any member of this forum questions the credentials of the fbodfather they will do a search. No human person is more responsible for the return of the Chevy Camaro than he and there are so many references to that point that I would be embarrassed for any member who questioned his credentials without searching. And, of course, once one has completed a search there will be no need to question.
