Considering looks are the only thing this intake has going for it, quite a bit.

Chrome holds heat in longer than aluminum. Aluminum also won't rust like chrome and polishes out to a mirror finish like chrome. It's also lighter.

Ok well its polished aluminum so its more durable and dispurses heat better...and polishes to a mirror finish (like chrome) then its better.......i love mine now....i did have second thoughts but after hooking up to a computer at my buddies shop the AIT or air intake temp is only 7° above abient while silumated driving at 35 mph.
