Injen intake throws codes

Morning everyone,

Injen Intake will throw codes about 5

mass flow
atmospheric pressure
HP and TQ off line
and one I don't remember

Best way to reset so no codes show? battery disconnect?

These little engines are picky.

They will most likely come back unless you tune the car. but maybe a battery disconnect will let the computer relearn the new readings.

I guess ill be waiting on ddm version of the 1.8, or see it the battery pull will solve the problem..I want one not needing a tune..Have u contacted Injen? They advertise no tune needed and tested these on a sonic so im a bit confused on these findings...

I sent Injen an email, also according to there FQA section the issues I'm having shouldn't happen...based on interpretation.

Let us know what they do to fix this. I was planning on this intake being my first engine upgrade and would like to know how this plays out before I buy. Thanks in advance.

Also I'm if there a difference between the 1.4T and 1.8 NA? I have the 1.8 naturally aspirated and thought this would be the bolt on mod they described in their description of the tuned MR intake...

I know zzp is working on a new intake for the 1.4t it should be out at the end of May from what I was told. DDM is also working on one that looks really good as well.

I think I would be worried too, but from what i've seen the tune looks like it makes the car so much better. When I get mine I don't think I will be able to say no. lol

We had a customer blow a head gasket some how, he thinks it sucked in water or something. Anyway he is getting it replaced under warranty... He just flashed back to stock

No joke I have a friend who worked on the marketing plan for the sonic. One of there main goals is to market to people who have some understanding of how the cars function and how to improve them.

You could just take it to an advance auto parts or autozone if u have those around Nd they hook up their scanner to your car for free.
