Intake Manifold Replacement help

Okay, so I tried every fix I could before having to replace my entire manifold but I've gotten to the point where I have to. I ripped the part from a cruz and now I'm getting ready to install it into the car. I'm just wondering if anyone on this forum has performed this repair and if they have do they have any recommendations? I looked on cmans for directions but they ask to remove the front drive wheel axle and honestly i'm pretty hesitant about doing that. What I'm really wondering is if there is a way to remove the manifold without having to remove the wheel shaft? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
