Interior lights have a shorted fuse?

2014 hatch LT

In the dark, only 1 of the 4 window toggles is lit up (driver side front), and the window switches on the other doors aren't illuminated. I called GM, and they were unsure and will get back to me, but I thought I would ask here.

Do all of your window switches light up at night?

i think my '12 hatch only shows the driver side window switch lit up. perhaps this is normal?

Completely normal. GM and their infinite wisdom decided the driver only needs to see the switch for the drivers window, and no one else needs to see the switch for their window.

I guess the figure that if the driver can find the driver window switch, he or she can find the other switches. It's probably a cost saving measure.

For the record, fuses are supposed to be pretty much shorted. When they "fail" they go open.
