Intermittent Windshield Pause

When using my windshield wipers in the intermittent setting, after 4 swipes, it does a jiggle (slight quick movement, but not a stroke) before continuing the cycle.
Have any of you noticed this action, or is this related to some setting?

I have not, but at my age I do use the same routine when I pee.

Wife's 2012 had some odd wiper behavior, esp in intermittent mode.

Swapped wiper relays between two cars, issue persisted.

Replaced wiper switch/stalk and all is as new. 10 minute job, $20 part online
