Is this supposed to be connected to the battery?

Juat bought the car about 500 miles ago and noticed this

From the looks of the ring tab on the battery terminal and the location of the wire it appears that it has come off.
Can you follow the wire to the other end ?

Yup, just needs a new crimp connector. or just strip the wire and clamp it under the bolt lol

That is the negative side of the battery, something may not be working because of not having a ground. My 2016 has that wire and it is connected to that ring terminal.
