Damn that does look great
Curious...
... it looks as though the Sonic has tinted glass. I wonder if that's the case, or if the owner in the vid had an aftermarket tint done?
That would be kind of a cool thing... considering most sub-compacts do not come with such luxuries... that is, if one still considers tinted glass a "luxury" this day and time.
I was disappointed knowing my Fit Sport didn't have tinted windows, and cheap-@$$3d Honda doesn't even offer it as an option for the Fit. Like I said though, most sub makers don't offer it for their compact, gas saving lines either.
Believe me, it's a big deal for small cars with large, sloping windshields. The Fit is like a flippin' fish bowl during sunny days, and can act as a greenhouse because of the large, non-tinted windows.
Let's hope Chevy has a heart and offers actual tinted glass from the factory.

The LTZ sitting in my driveway does NOT have tinted windows.
Then I guess our friend in the video had his tinted, obviously. Also, it appears as though that is an LTZ model, and the owner had his 17" [LTZ] wheels painted black. At least they look exactly like the wheels that come with the LTZ.
I really wish I could get an LTZ and opt for the 16" wheels. I like those better than the look of the 17" wheels. Don't get me wrong... they both look nice. It's just that I'm a little more partial to the 16" wheel design.
BTW, don't have a lot of time right now... "read, maybe post quickly, and run" is about it. No real time for searching the forum. So I will ask you, have you done a review of your LTZ yet? Is yours a sedan or hatchback?

I edited the picture here from the Detroit auto show to display how I would envision a racing paint job on this car, Just bought two of them one for my wife and when I realized how fun it was to drive I got myself an LT in this orange color. I thought the Hankook Tires made a good main sponsor since ours came with those equipped and they really do ride nicely.
I've been painting Sim race cars for iracing.com by request for several months now and decided to play around with a photo of the Sonic, now a different version of this is my desktop wallpaper. hope you like it.

God I LOVE the European blue. If I had the funds, I would honestly have gotten mine sprayed that color by now. I really wish they had it in the States.
For anyone wondering, the EU blue is "Borocay Blue" while the US is "Topaz Blue"
The color code for Borocay Blue is GQM, which seems to go by the name "Sports Blue" in the States. I know too many useless facts.
Long story short, I really really really want that color.
