The main fail is that the tire pressure was not checked before the retail delivery took place. U do not think it is too much for Chevrolet to expect their franchisees to do minimal checks: oil level. fluid in the windshield wiper reservoir, functioning brakes and audio system, and, finally, tire pressure.

And, clean the windshield.
When I went with my uncle to buy a Subaru they didn't clean the windshield. It was fun driving home trying to look through a white film with the sun shining through the glass.

That became one of the first things I look at. If the windows aren't clean I'm not signing. Now if I went around with a tire gauge they might think I'm crazy so I'll leave that off the check list.

But you're absolutely right. The car should be 100% ready to drive. Clean, filled up, ready to go.
