Malibu 2.0l Turbo Swap Possible?

I bought a one owner all original running (restoration needed) dodge omni Shelby version for $2,000 off CL.... for fun. It's a cool car! Think I'm going to daily my sonic and resto this Omni.

I really love the old low volume Chrysler Shelby's. It's a blast to even see them around driving, the Shadow too.

Not to come off like a douche because I dont mean it to sound like this, but I don't see how this fits in with a 2.0 swap thread.

I'm positive that I could execute a well written polemic about this, but I feel it would suffice to say that the Omni has a 2.2 turbo. (Pretty close to a 2.0) Also, what does half the post here have to do with a 2.0 swap? Take posts 8,9,10 for starters. Too, from what I've researched, it seems the K20 is the best fit for a swap In the sonic. I talked to Ming at N1 garage and I have a complete parts list...... if anyone is interested. Otherwise, Im sorry for my previous unrelated comment...... I'll go back to my corner now.

Easiest way to do the 2.0 swap for the sonic:

1. Sell your sonic.
2. Buy a base 2.0T LTG Camaro.

That way, your "sonic" runs low 14s right off the lot, AND it's now RWD!

Sorry for the snark, but this is WAY easier than throwing an insane amount of $$$ at the sonic to make the LTG swap work,

I still believe the easier swap would be the 2.0LHU + 6T40 or F40... It's unlikely I'll ever find out but it's still fun to muck the ideas around
