My 2015 NORCAL SS Dusk Build

Going to pick up the car in about 2 weeks from dealer but need to get some mods coming so here we go. I like to give a budget to myself before I buy a car so this one is limited to 5k in mods.

1- Mtech Short shifter ordered
MTech Short shifter type L-Shift for M32 transmissions from model year 2013 and younger - MTech Short Shifters

2- GM Kit 23158161 which is Front/Rear RS Shocks with 20mm springs $420

3- Tint side/rear windows all 25%

4- LED Interior/License plate kit

5- HID conversion for headlights/foglamps

6- Debadge car and put overlays on emblems

7- If I can find them front clear corner head lights

8- Husky front/rear floor mats

9- Weathertech trunk floor mat

10- Front RS Door panels with RS Black panels on dash. The dusk tan interior is kinda to much for me

i have a few other new gm cars that are my toys and looking forward to getting this one going.

Also on the 20mm suspension set up I will put about 500 miles on my car to make sure all the suspension settles and will take pictures with measurements before/after the drop. Just so we have exact measurements for the coummunity and future owners.

That's all very awesome! Can't wait to see some pics of this thing, what color did you go with? I love the dusk wheels they look really good on these cars. The next mod you should do after you complete your list is a EFILive tune from Jerry at bad news racing!

Dusk only came in the one color which is the dark gray. Keeping the warranty on this one so diablo tune if I do anything so it can't be seen. 2015 is last year with 5yr/100 warranty. 2016 5yr/60k warranty

I've used husky or weathertech in all my vehicles for years that see snow and mud. The best for bad weather.

I installed maxspider 3d mats and trunk liner in my sonic since it's not seeing winter weather and is molded like weathertech without the deep grooves. Looks factory and low profile to boot.

Just picked up car. I might rip suspension apart when I get home tonight.

Ok well didn't find torque specs for suspension so debaged the rear and ordered some bowtie overlays.

99 miles on the car went for a nice ride down highway 1 and car needs suspension help. Let me rephrase that... I'm a hardcore suspension guy and my escalade takes corners better (I have all cromoly arms I did in it plus more) and I have a 96 impala ss full suspension I did also and handles better then this car (and weight 3x as much) That being said I'm going to start off with the 20mm gm suspension package then try the ride again down highway 1. I'm kinda excited to see how much difference the suspension makes on it.

Getting car tinted right now. 25 percent on all windows minus windshield. I also ordered front sonic black rs door panels. The Mojave color is not on rear door panels but it is on front so my OCD is kicking in. I might end up changing the dash panels to black also since my cost on the dash pieces to make black are only 250 bucks.

Well got all black rs interior parts. The dash parts/glove box all new from gm 255 bucks

The door panels I got off a sonic rs with only 3 miles for 285 bucks shipped. Looking forward to not seeing the majave parts on dash or doors.

Removed the oem muffler and did a straight pipe. IF YOUR LOOKING AT SOMETHING CHEAP the car sounds great for a 40 dollar muffler delete

Stock muffler literally a 90 degree wall it hits to exit.

Before/after vled led kit. Looks so much better. Also a customer of mine has same kit in his for 3 years no issues. Vleds.com. I also put the husky floormats in and they cover everything. Deff worth it

No prob. Vleds.com might cost more but great output of light and they do last. I just ordered the reverse light leds so I'll see how that turns out
