No one should get upset about you being honest with them. It seems like the tune helps your car rather then hurting it. Maybe i'm wrong? I would still take it in for oil changes at the dealership cause I wouldn't want to chance them voiding my warranty for oil.
There's a federal law (Magnuson-Moss, I believe) prohibiting the OEM from voiding the warranty if you use a comparable part or repair facility. The oil does need to meet Dexos certs. Valvoline doesn't, but Mobil, Pennziol, Quaker State and Shell (among the more popular)do. You just need to provide proof the service was done. Sorry to jack the thread.
