No one should get upset about you being honest with them. It seems like the tune helps your car rather then hurting it. Maybe i'm wrong? I would still take it in for oil changes at the dealership cause I wouldn't want to chance them voiding my warranty for oil.

There's a federal law (Magnuson-Moss, I believe) prohibiting the OEM from voiding the warranty if you use a comparable part or repair facility. The oil does need to meet Dexos certs. Valvoline doesn't, but Mobil, Pennziol, Quaker State and Shell (among the more popular)do. You just need to provide proof the service was done. Sorry to jack the thread.

it doesnt list what bulbs are used for the interior lights. i saw the map and trunk lights are 194's, but i would like to know what size exactly is that festoon.

I actually don't know the official size of the dome light bulb. I just ordered the universal one from V-LEDS and adjusted it to fit.

I'd stick with Mobil1. I love that stuff and it's certified.

Is that what the dealerships use for the Sonic turbo? Synthetic?

I will be getting my sill plates in sometime this week...can't wait. I, like you, will do performance last. Gotta get her looking right first.

I don't know about the 1.4t factory oil but mobil1 full synthetic is/was used on the LNF cars (2.0T motors) and is used in the corvettes and camaros

Chevy has decided on dexos1 certified engine oil for both engines. Mobil1 and Royal Purple among others make it. I do not know when Chevy made the change from requiring full synthetic to the dexos1 blend. There is a price difference, I think dexos1 is about $1 a quart cheaper.

GM specifies Mobil1 full synthetic for the CTS-V and dexos1 for the ZL1. Both cars use the supercharged LSA V8. Your guess is as good as mine! - L

I'm not lowered, that's just how perfect the stock stance is on 17"s.

So wait, with all those LED Bulbs's going in your car, would you need a set of resistors for each set of LED Bulbs.......I want to put LED Bulb's for all my rear Bulbs, but would i need a resistor for each LED Bulb?

Only the turn signal bulbs need resistors, all the others work fine without one. The only reason you need resistors for the turn signals is because they have a fault mode to make you aware of burned out bulbs, the other lights do not.
