Not long, just waiting on the horn relay that my dad is bringing home. Once the horns are done I can try to put the bumper cover back on. So far I've been working on it casually all day.

Yep. I actually broke a few little useless tab rings on each side of the bumper cover because I didn't slide the bumper forward instead of pulling up and out. It went back on nice and tight though.
I got my LED resistors installed and I hope the connections are reliable, I just need V-LEDS to send me the bulbs I ordered weeks ago, but they've been on backorder.
I also installed my PIAA Superior Bass horns I got from Japan.
They sound awesome. I'll get a clip of them tomorrow.

What you don't see is the removal of the fuse block and the dissection and addition of a wire to the forward harness connector. That's where you concentrate. lol
Another note, GM designed the front bumper fillers (black plastic where the fogs go) to withstand a direct missile attack. I had to break every ring tab on both of them to get them off the bumper. Then it was a PITA to put the new ones on.
BTW, I saw this today and immediately thought about you:
Halogen bulbs in the reverse lights.
I think I am going to do this with mine.
That's one way to get you more light, but I'd be a little worried about the stock wiring and connectors holding up to 50w though. Then again, the wire for the fog lights is tiny and that's 70w total.
I was just using my 8w LED reverse lights tonight and thinking about how much light they put out and how much I see behind me at night.

You know, other people said the same thing, but I am pretty sure I only run my reverse lights for maybe 30 seconds at a time.
Now, if I was driving in reverse for 5 or 10 miles, I might be nervous
Just remember that they come on for entry and exit lighting too.

It's all put back together now. I did notice that the bumper isn't fitting as tightly up against the fenders as it was before and I somehow scratched it a tiny bit on the edge.
The dealer I bought the car from wanted $400 to install the kit. I did it myself but still have to pay like $85 to get the car programmed to recognize them.

Andrew, you would have my vote for SOTM if the rules allowed. The upgrades youve done since you won should almost qualify you to run again.

I know that the chrome surround on the grille is not replaceable, but I have seen colored headlamp rings available as an accessory in other countries, but I haven't looked to see how complicated they are to change or if they are just overlays.
