My New 2020 LT

New 2020 summit white Sonic LT.
I got it with 7 miles on it, my first new car in a very long time.
I didn't get the convenience package so I still have the old key ignition and no remote start without Onstar and a few other features that I didn't need.
One thing I will say is this 1.4T with 6 speed auto is night and day to my old 2011 Cruze Eco.
They have come a long way since introducing the 1.4T and 6 speed transmission.
I got mine with a 7 year, 75,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty with $100 deductible for peace of mind.

Anyone thinking about getting one of these Sonics should do so soon, there is talk of it going away in 2021, the Cruze is already gone as of 2019.

Just curious, what does an extended warranty like that cost these days? Is it from Chevy or another company? I’m up to 49K on my 2015 with no issues, but curious, thanks.

Ally Premier Protection with GAP it is an extra $20 a month on the payment.
Was supposed to be almost $40 more but they adjusted the cost because I refused it.
It is sold by the dealership so hopefully they stand behind it.
I prefer the sedan, the hatch looks too small for me, I almost bought a Spark until I saw it in person, I may still get one to keep in the trunk in case mine breaks down.

Welcome and grats on the new ride. I agree that the sedan is the way to go with the Sonic. I never cared for the hatchback look on this car.

I was just reading through and thought I'd chime in because I'm new here but congrats on the new car I'm honestly kinda surprised to see that so many people dislike hatchback because of it's looks but always to each their own I've always had an affinity towards hatchbacks especially with the cargo space in the rear and also they are in my opinion a little better with visibility. I've been a valet for a few years and driven just about everything but always can get behind a hatchback to me it's pretty much getting the feeling of a small car with the space of a small van a win win situation to me as that was the biggest reason I got the car over what I had before ( a ford escort zx2 coupe) which felt like a shoe box compared to the sonic. I'll definitely have to check out the sedan vs hatchback thread now that I'm a full member after this post yay!
