Do you guys know if the MyLink infotainment sotware ever get updates? Has anyone in the modding community discovered a way to hack the software so that it can be customized?(i.e. color theme, wallpaper, etc?)

Wrong section but there have been GM updates for the Sonic version MyLink and yes, GTPPrix has hacked this MyLink version but you have to send your Head Unit to him. Google Chris White for more info.

Mine got updated, a GM service rep should be able to tell by the VIN whether or not you are needing the newest version...which I don't even know there's anything new.
I had an update coming, so last time at the dealership they did it...I can't tell any difference BESIDES the stereo thinking I have a backup camera, which I don't. So in reverse the screen displays an error message about he camera...no biggie.

turn off the reverse camera in the settings... so you dont get that msg anymore.

Can someone go in and take a pic of the hardware and software versions? I've asked my dealer 2x to update the MyLink and they say there's no update. I have a 2013, but if there's the ability to have the backup camera added as an option I'll add one...and maybe fix the RDS and some phone sync issues I've had.

I have asked my dealership if there is an update and they keep telling me no as well. My software verision is like 13 something but i read somewhere on this forum that the latest is like 21 something. I would really like a backup camera if possible
