My new red 2015 Sonic RS was delivered to my house last night!
I sold my VW Tiguan this past December and decided my next car would be a hatch. But it needed to fit our two greyhounds. I researched and researched over the winter. Was pretty sure I was going with the Honda Fit. Then I had the chance to drive a Sonic sedan as a rental when I took my teen son and niece to Graceland in January. We all thought it was a great little car. So I put it on my list of potential candidates.
This past weekend, I test drove a 2017 LT with RS package and a 2016 LTZ, but neither had the combination of everything I was looking for. So on Sunday night I was searching CarGurus and found a leftover 2015 RS that had never sold and it has EVERYTHING! The real leather and heated RS seats, sunroof, turbo (of course), remote start, 17" wheels...etc., etc. and reduced in price by $6,200! I called the dealership Monday morning to see if the car was still available (because it was 90 miles away). Luckily it was. Long story short, they offered to deliver it to me. I did everything over the phone and when I got home from work last night it was sitting in my driveway!
I am a 43 year old mom and I LOVE this little car. It makes me smile when I see it and when I drive it...
