I had a Duh moment with my Sonic, the keys are much different than Im used too, Pulled my keys out of my pocket and was WTH I lost the car key started to panic until i pushed the chrome button, DUH!, then I couldn't roll down the drivers side window half way it kept going up down, up down several time before I could stop it, Duh! and I just found out after two weeks that the sunroof can crack open and auto open, also the fuel fill is on the wrong side of the car,

NOT wrong side, but you must commit this to memory!
While everyone is gassing up with pump on drivers side, you can scoot into the unused spots so easily with hardly anyone having passenger side gas caps!
And if you forget, just pull car forward a bit and you can still access cap (short car!)

When I was at the dealer going over the car, the check engine light was on. The salesman said... The car using on. I had turned the ignition and swore I heard and felt the motor turn over. I turned the key and what do u know? I was wrong the engine was never running. I was quite embarrassed.

I have a Ford F150, been driving that one and the one before it for 20 years. I get in it, pull the gearshift up and left, shifting into reverse, to pull out... truck moves forward. Later, I get in my Sonic, pull gearshift to the right and down, shifting into reverse... car stalls. Because the F150 was going into 1st as I tried to do a Sonic reverse shift in it, and the Sonic was going into 6th as I tried to do a F150 reverse shift in It.
Sadly, this isn't because new car... I still do this more than a year later.
Same thing with the EBrake, I find myself reaching down to the Hood Release area to take the brake off on my Sonic, I find myself pawing the bench seat to my right looking for the brake lever in my F150.

This same thing happens to me and my wife whenever we drive each other's car. She has a 5-speed focus with reverse in the down-right position.
Also whenever I drive her car I always try to shift from 5th to reverse (thinking there's a 6th), but thankfully it doesn't let me.whenever she drives the sonic, after stalling in 6th trying to back up, she rides around in 5th until she notices the "shift up" light on the dash and then remembers there's a 6th gear.

I have never tried to shift the F150 into "6th"... but I have thought about it on more than one occasion.
The few that get through are nothing compared to what it would be like if I wasn't banning new members based on their IP location like I am. It would probably be 10 times worse, no joke.

When I got my new FJ back in late 2006, I was driving and it stated to rain. I tried to roll up the windows and nothing. I was so pissed. Pulled over, check all the fuses under the dash. Then went under the hood looking... it was pouring by that time. Got back in, was heading to the dealer and I noticed this little button next to the door lock button. Ya, some how I had hit it and locked the windows from going up or down. Why would you have a window lock switch in a car that only has two windows that go down? Wouldn't it be easier just to hit the guy next to you messing with the windows rather than locking them?

A few days ago, my GF's daughter tried to get out of the back seat... door wouldn't open. She's been in the car a bunch of times, she knows to pull the lever twice. Nothing. She's yelling, her mom is yelling, trying to explain to each other what is going on, which they are both wrong about, but neither can hear because they are talking over each other.
At some point, reaching down to click off the damnable TC, I'd accidentally hit the child safety lock, which is the button immediately adjacent. Only, never having had a child that small in the car, I'd long since forgotten all about it even being there. I probably hit it half the time when feeling for the TC button, which I hit almost every time I drive... just this was the first time there was someone in the back seat to discover the error. New car duh moment at 39K miles!
