Hey guys!
I've had my 2013 Sonic lt hatchback for about a year and a half now and I'm finally starting to make some extra money to put into my car! I'm looking to do a lot more cosmetic work than to the engine for now. If you have any ideas for a black sonic hatchback I'm all ears! I'm thinking about making most everything on the exterior black. I'm not a big chrome guy so I'm trying to get most of the trim off and either paint or plasti dip it. Let me know what you think and I'll try to put some pictures up sometime in the future! This is my first time using a forum so I'm excited to get some insight from everyone! Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! Make sure you get your 10 posts so you get full access to the site. I always check the build section for inspiration. Pick a color to go with the black of your car (pretty much any color) and try to dip the chevy emblems, headlight/tail light rings, and some of the other chrome trim.

I definitely want to get the headlight and taillight chrome rings off and paint them. But are they hard to get off? I dont want to break anything haha

Once you get your ten posts you can check out the modding section of the forum and find lots of helpful tips on how to remove certain parts on your car. Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable; the resources are endless!

The tail lights are very easy but to do the front ones properly you need to remove the bumper. I did my fronts the improper way and snapped a couple of the tabs.
