I went through 2 netbooks, an ultrabook, and finally settled on a laptop several months ago. The first netbook was a nice Acer which I would have kept had the touchpad not been screwed up. The 2nd netbook wasn't powerful enough, but had Bluetooth. I returned it and picked up an hp ultrabook, similar to the envy, but SSD only. It was an i3 and underperformed to the point it pissed me off. I loved the form factor and weight, but hated the hardware. What I eventually settled on was a cheap Toshiba Satellite from Wal-Mart for about $450. I then newegged a Kingston SSD, 16g ram, bluetooth usb nib, and a slot load bluray replacement. All told it set me back about $850, but I got what I wanted except the size and weight.
