Hello all! About a month ago my wife and I purchased her a 2013 Sonic LT Turbo Inferno Orange. Since then I have decided to buy one for myself when I get home from deployment. Her Sonic probably won't get much more than wheels when I get home. Mine, however, will be a semi-extensive build. I won't go into too much detail (unless asked).
A little about us: My wife and I have been married since 10/11/12. I have been in the California Army National Guard for about 2years now. This upcoming deployment will be my first.
It has been about 4 years or so since I left the tuning scene. My first tiptoed experience into tuning were with a little 1990 Geo Storm (auto). I had done some basic mods to her (intake exhaust, some aero, and stereo). After I blew the engine, I picked up a 1999 Hyundai Tiberon (manual). Again I started with the basics (minus aero/stereo) and also head/tail light assemblies, clear side markers, and wheels. That car ended up being full of gremlins. So I traded the Tiberon in for a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS/SC. Cobalt mods included Injen CAI, DC Sports muffeler w/3" piping from the CAT back, KSport springs, MB Wheels hand painted gold, Custom painted headlight assemblies with eyelids, 6000K HID headlights, 6000K halogen fogs, tinted taillight assemblies, black painted front lip and side skirts and center wing, and RKSports rear bumper w/ diffuser.
After having some major brake malfunctions, I traded The Cobalt in for a truck. Now I'm ready to start tuning again.
I'm on here in hopes that a helpful member would be willing to link me to some useful threads. Namely: suspension options (springs, coils, swaybars, etc.), turbo system upgrade options (turbos, turbo manifolds, blowoffs/wastegates, intercooler upgrades, etc), and body kit/piece options).
