Hi im a new member just making a post for my 1 of 10... lol.
Ive got a 2014 Sonic RS Hatch (Rebuilt title) Bought and Fixed my self.
Im a Collision Technician (Body man) And a mechanic at night and on the weekends. (Father owns a shop.) My relationship with my 1.4T Began in a salvage warehouse(all Rebuildable cars) in 15. Bought and fixed my car (21k Miles at the time) for 6k out the door. Fixed and painted it myself. im pretty picky so it took a while. Im currently in the process of swapping it from automatic to manual (was the only downside to the car) my other option was a 13 LTZ manual with 40k miles. but i took the RS and it was worth it.
First bought the car as a cheap DD, relaible etc... after about a year or so i saw some cool exhaust vids online, and wanted mine to sounds like that. So as my Best friend said, and its true...."it all started with the exhaust". after the exhaust i fell in love, so i followed up with alot more upgrades, i then decided i liked the car so much i wanted to fully build it. 1. cant do that with an AUTO, and 2. i realised it will never be 1000HP but its still fun as hell. So im currently in the stage of ordering a few more parts and decidng what clutch i want before the swap. I have everything i need sitting in my garage for my swap. on a side note, if anybody has any questions about this let me know. Anyways current Mods in order...
1. ZZP Race 02 downpipe
2. Full strait pipe ZZP exhaust with RS Muffler
(Had it all the way strait pipes no muff's, res or cats from turbo back.... No way Jose its so loud it makes your ears bleed, so i bought the muffler)
3. Bosch #42 Green Giant injectors ( I run e85 Love the smell of ethenol)
4. K&N Typhoon Series Cold air intake
5. ZZP oil catch Can
6. Trifecta advantage ELITE tune's
7.Forge Atmo. BOV
8. DIY ported intake manifold
DIY stuff
9. Custom built 3 pod Black Pillar gauge pod
10. Front Grille Delete
11. White Halo Rings (on factory HL's)
12. Manual swap i guess?
13. Rally armour mud flaps ans black painted Rims
