Hello my name is Justin and I'm new to the sonic scene I just got my car from a trade in this week and am already in love with it. My old car had a small fracture in the head gasket so it was time for a new car. I found this little gem with 98,000 miles in close to mint condition and knew i had to have it. After purchasing I've done alot of research into the aftermarket side of this vehicle as building cars is my passion and I was happily surprised at the amount of performance products available for this vehicle and the awesome following this vehicle has. I have noticed a few problems with the car which I will wait until I am fully a member to discuss as one of which im definitely gonna need some help figuring out. However all said and done this is a great car and I can't wait to start tearing into it. So my aspirations of the vehicle are as follows atleast that I know I want to do right now. ZZP air intake and cat back exhaust, Upgraded shocks and struts ( not sure exactly what I'm going to do with this yet as I'd really like to maintain stock ride height because of the horrendous speed bumps where I live) that said bagging it is a possibility, new sway bar, gotta get some tint for the windows, definitely a tune to wake this thing up im not sure exactly what company I'm gonna go with yet as there are a few with good reviews and I have to see which tuners are compatible with each tuner and how easily I can get a tuner or tuning laptop, the rest is all audio upgrades I want to take out the mylink system as it is aging and throw in a new stereo with rca outputs, a rear camera, and integrated Navigation. Currently looking at a sound stream system for that but not 100% committing just yet. The door speakers are gonna come out and get replaced im still not 100% on how I want to do this but I'm really thinking of upgrading the fronts to a higher grade 3 way speaker and then the rear speakers ( i have the 6 speaker system) I will replace with amplified subs for a clean install and I don't really want to lose any space in the back. Also want to upgrade the tweeters not sure if I can find something to fit the pre installed ones or if I'm gonna go full custom yet I have to talk to my car audio guy to see my options. Other then that maybe some additional lightning such as undergrowth and definitely want to do some halos and that would be about it. I like the stock look of the car so pretty much just going to do a bit to the internals I just want a nice fun daily and I think this is the perfect platform to do that with. I'll be using this forum alot for help and to help others along the way. If anyone ever needs help with something I've done just let me know and I'll gladly offer what information I have.
