1. 2013 LT Sedan 55,000 miles.

3. Needs work so I'll fix it and keep it.

4. Leaky valve cover, A/C doesn't blow cold and strange front end noise. Maybe more.

5. Shocked to see the valve cover is plastic. Thermostat housing is too.

6. I forgot to mention one other problem. Intermittent check engine light. AutoZone told me the code indicates the thermostat is stuck open.

7. That's when I find out the thermostat for this engine is electronically controlled with a specified opening temperature of 221°F.

8. This car doesn't have a temperature gauge. I would be curious to know how hot it has to get before the overheat warning light comes on. Pretty close to being done I imagine.

9. I wouldn't have this as a primary vehicle. I feel obligated to keep it and once these issues are fixed it will probably make a good second car.
