She was texting me about cooling problems

She'd been having a lot of problems with the car since she bought it.

My Dad had recently passed away and left me a 2012 Ford Fusion that I was driving to work

The Fusion was a good car but wasn't saving enough in gas to cover the insurance.

So I told my niece to come get it. She could have the Fusion and I'd take the Sonic.

So I fixed the obvious stuff. Replaced water pump, thermostat and outlet.

No more leaks. But AC isn't working.
It was working before she hit a big turtle on the highway.

Apparently a BIG snapping turtle. It cracked the bumper cover and it was flapping around.

Replaced the bumper cover too.
Condenser was bent and a line from condenser to compressor was leaking, rubbing on fan shroud.

Replaced all that and no leaks, compressor won't kick on.
Really, I'm not asking questions yet, just spamming.

So while I working on it, my youngest stepson bought it from me. $1500, it has a rebuilt title.

And now it's been sitting in my shop, ready to go but no AC, already paid for and in my way.

I'm ready for it to disappear so I can park my M715 inside before the canvas top starts rotting away.
