Hello,
I just purchased a 2013 Sonic LT Hatchback. It is a 1.8L automatic and appears to be in excellent shape. I picked the car up for my daughter to use and was amazed at how well built it seemed.
It has the MyLink system, Remote start, full power options. The car just turned 40,000 miles and there are no rattles. It still feels like a new car.
I managed to find the information on oil changes, cabin filter changes and the tips / tricks thread on this site. I plan to replace the cabin filter, air filter and change the oil this weekend. This is more for piece of mind and will give me a clean slate to start with.
Thanks for all the knowledge sharing on this site. Part of my purchase decision was based upon feedback I read here. Usually when you find a decent economy it feels cheap and reliability is bad. After reviewing many of the threads here I felt comfortable making the purchase.
I was looking at a Ford Fiesta as well but due to the horror stories of Ford buying back so many I walked away from that car.
I am sure I will be posting more in the future.
Thanks
Keith
