So I've already talked to a bunch of people on here, all very helpful so far. My name is Kegan... I live in salt lake, Utah, didn't know if anyone else lives up here... Just got myself a '13 sonic rs in black, already blacked out all of the chrome, and pulled the front bumper off for an intercooler sprayer and I installed an intake... Soon to do straight pipes for my muscle car background!

Well we know it's a hatchback, we know it's the 1.4T, we know it's black... you're doing pretty good at answering all the FNG questions so far, if only because the RS only comes that one way.

You even did a pic. Lots more of those, but good start.

I want to see your mod install in particular, where are the sweet shots of your intercooler spray setup? Give me a writeup on it, with twenty seven eight-by-ten color glossy pictures with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each
one explaining what each one was!

Sounds like you're gonna have a hot hatch!

If you're not already aware you'll need a tune to make any permanent power over the stock. Even with every bolt on mod on the market the engine will only produce a max of 138hp because the ECM monitors and commands a set amount of torque output and will take steps to keep power at a set max. (it's known as "torque based management")

A tune not only makes way more power over stock but also allows aftermarket parts to make more power
