new RS

picked up an '14 Blue RS a few months back. It's been great fun, especially traction control off.

Took it to an autox day and hammered it hard all day, then drove home at 24mpg. About double my previous car.

Had it to the dealer for an overheating issue, which they told was normal. Then Chevy sent me a recall notice saying my car might have an overheating issue. Not good.

Well the coolant lose problem is not good but GM's recent response to it is very good. Even so it might be prudent to keep a gallon of Dex-Cool around. My Sonic loses coolant very slowly, at the rate of maybe 1 gallon every 15,000 miles. I fear my dealer might view this as normal. Annoying, but I don't have the energy now to fight it. Checking my coolant level every couple months is not a big hassle. Of course should I start seeing/smelling coolant around the engine bay I will force the issue.
