If you want to save a few bucks.

The 1.8 does not need a stage 3 clutch and never will on this trans. Stage one will be more then enough.


Also, check out ky clutch. It will be the one I am going with.

yea. I figured as much. But I don't know if I will be upgrading the trans yet.

my sway bar finally came in! can't wait to install it with the endlinks. anyone else have it? did you have to use a torque wrench? if so, how many lbs?

Torque spec on what?

There is a dozen or so bolts that get removed.

Nice! I'm running the same wheels on 235/45. I have both the ZZP rear bar and BNR front bar installed and I absolutely love it. I did not install it myself (my good friend is a professional so...why not) so I can't help you with anything in that department, however, I WILL say DO NOT forget to grease those front sway bar bushings. They make a lot of noise and it's really annoying. Grease those up really well you'll thank yourself later. My situation happened (creaking and metal friction noise audible in the cabin) occurred because of insufficient grease. Keep this in mind!

I run 235/45/17's as well. Experts say you'll lose a bit of power/speed due to being such a meaty tire, but they do look bad a$$ on my Sonic!!

I agree.. It's a good tip. Otherwise I'd never go back under to fix it. I always do my installs myself. Or with a friend. I think this will be more of a pain than when I get the ZZP rear brake kit.

I haven't noticed any loss (although it would probably be too small to detect anyways). If anything it feels a bit quicker off the line (probably due to the better squat from the Eibach's). My wheel/tire combo is actually lighter than stock. I'm not sure how much lighter exactly but I weighed both set ups by hand and it was a significantly noticeable difference.

Performance. Idc too much about look. I'm focusing now on handling and suspension. Then going to worry about hp. Some point going to straight pipe with headers and different intake.

It is a never ending battle. Cornering ability also has a lot to do with driving skill, tires, ect.

Pretty soon you will be like me and have a 1/3 of what you paid for the car in aftermarket parts.

Oh yea... I know.. I don't mind at all though. But at some point I want to import either a Skyline R34 or a Silvia S15. Then put real money into that.
