Installing aftermarket hoods are very simple. 2 people at minimum is best. Not saying you cant do it yourself its just very helpful to have an extra hand. Adjustment is pretty basic. As far as the washer nozzle my last car i just didn't out it on the hood lol

Quite the opposite. The glass has to be removed (i payed professionals to do that part) to get the wiring harness out. Then the hatch is swapped and the harness fed in and routed. Then the glass has to be installed (again professionally).
It was a full day job, but very satisfying. It completely transforms the look of the back of the car.

That actually surprises me for some reason, but logically it makes sense. Either way, I really love the look and MAYBE someday the hood and hatch will be a purchase I make.

The pictures do that hatch no justice, The CF really adds a huge presence to it. You should have seen the people at the track the car was like a magnet everyone wanted to know what it was and what it ran.

I guess that's something to have the shop who will be doing my custom audio setup do for me...since they specialize in custom anything...they have experience with that sort of thing.
My freaking list of parts is $6k in performance/handling/visual. Car audio is another $2k right now. This is going to be VERY BAD.
Going to keep the stock headunit and use a JL Clean Sweep for audio integration. Memphis shallow mount sub(s) mounted in the spare wheel area. Either a single 12 DVC or 2 10 SVC's. Also will run a 4-channel with a nice set of components up front and not sure about the rear doors right now. Not sure if I want a pair of mid-bass drivers or 2-way coax speakers. That will be determined AFTER I actually buy the damn car.

I would suggest making a clear objective to pursue first. If you spread your effort over 3 goals: Performance, Appearance, and Audio, your results will be in a long constant state of flux where none of them are "complete" until you're homeless. LOL
I listed the 3 in order of my priorities, but it sounds like audio is big on your list, and I think the Sonic will lend itself well to a bad-ass sound system. (relocating the rear speakers not being overlooked.)
Tackle the audio first so you can put it behind you and move on two the other two. One caveat: get the tune before spending a dollar on anything else, including audio.

Yeah, performance is last on my list at the moment. First plans are the WeatherTech LaserFit mats and window vents. Tint and the minor exterior visual appearance things like Plasti-dip.
The audio system is next up.
I figure the first year to year and a half for all of this, then I'll start performance.
