It's almost funny, really. Spamming 10 posts (plus all the posts ranting about having to spam posts)...to stop the spam posts...

If you truly have an issue with how the forum decided to mitigate spam you don't have to hang around just to complain about it. I'd rather open up the forum and see new members spamming the forum to gain access vs 100's of new threads and posts that are true spam. You have your ten, what do you really have to worry about?

Okay, we just had a problem and this was the chosen fix. If I was a new member I would open a build thread and post a pic of my car and a 2-10 post count after that to gain access, once I had more than 20 posts I would go and delete the unneeded posts in my build thread so it is still a usable build thread and served the purpose of filtering spam, didn't produce unneeded posts in other peoples intros and all would be well.
