Official DIY Request thread

I love doing stuff myself not only because it saves money (saved about $300 installing my own splash guards, replacing my own fog lights, and installing my own cargo net) but it is fun to do and makes my car stand out. I had a lot of fun taking the pictures while I worked on my car and making the DIY articles themselves.

If anyone has any requests on a DIY article, go ahead and post it here and if I can't do it, I am sure someone else would be more than happy to make a DIY for it.

I have the fog lights on my LT and 16" alloys they all came together . I also had them add the 6 speed AT for my wifie .

I'm going to try to tackle this one after Christmas. Hopefully I'll have the patience and remember to take photos along the way.

here is one i want to do correctly cuz i did it all sorts of nasty on my cobalt. change the interior tan colors to black i.e. the pillars and roof. im going to slowly change all the silver colors with black as well so ill be stuck with various contrasting shades of black.

really dont have the time my self to figure this our and ive posted a couple place bout it .... have u tried to remove the front 3.5 inch plastic piece where the license plate went.... and open the whole grill up .... ... hook up an amp to the stock head unit... and how to take the head lights off / to tint and remove the amber side reflector...

RocktheShazbot, this is not directly at you, but what about a rear brake conversion to discs...

I was kinda pissed that I could only get drums on the rear, and I will be changing them eventually.
Not only do discs look better, they are more functional (I know the front brakes do most of the stopping)
And I know that converting from Drum to Disc is difficult, it will be done on My Sonic eventually.
