Sounds like it is at the Toronto Railyard in Toledo. It will stay on that rail autocar until it reaches the railyard close to you where it will be offloaded, put on a truck car hauler and delivered to your dealer. Your dealer can track its progress or give you the autocar number and you can track it. I posted how to do it in this thread but not sure when I did that. If I can find the post I will post the link.

Post #686 in this thread. It is quite long, but gives the 1-800 numbers to use to track the autocar progress. Do not talk to a live dispatcher, it is a courtsy that allows us to use these systems.

My Dealer says it's not possible to "track" it myself. I've requested the train car number and company several times and have not had any luck getting it. Is there a way to track by my order number?

If bound for the western great lakes or the pacific northwest and states in between, yes. But stimulus money is being devoted to improving the situation in Chicago and may already have the project completed. It involves an airport, several freeways and the railway system: a major project indeed.

If your dealer will not give you the info, the Chevrolet Customer Service (Vanessa for this site) can. Yours is not the only dealer who balks when asked, and it is possible your dealer has never done it and does not know it can be done.

On Chevrolet's website order tracking page, it appears there are supposed to be pictures of my car. There are none, should there be?

No pictures that I recall.

If you click on the VIN you may be taken to your window sticker, which appears after the car is shipped but is only available for a short time, so I print it out for the cars I order.

There is an 800 number that you could try. I have read enough posts in the Camaro5 forum to know that facing dealer resistance contacting Chevrolet Customer Service has worked. They contact the regional Dealer Business Center, get the rail autocar number and relay that info to you.

Which is what the dealer does (if memory serves) to get that info.

Not sure if you can say officially ordered or not but I sold my other car about three weeks ago, got my financing lined up through my credit union (Yay 0.9% Penfed) and have been communicating with my local dealer the past few days. They are keeping me updated on what is scheduled to come into them and what is landing at other dealers to see if I want it transfered over.

I'm traveling until Sep 9th but looks like I'll be picking up something the week I get back. Should be rolling in a LTZ Sedan, 1.4 w/ sunroof and auto soon.... I guess I'll be ordering me the Trifecta and cable in preparation.

The car should be there soon Jennie, just talked to my salesperson and he says it's in transit, it'll hit a hub closeby then it'll land the next day.
I'm hopin' they're on the ball and I can be there when it drops.
Apparently there are 10 people waiting on ordered cars there. (Not sure of the make)
