Oops, my 2016 Sonic met an 8-point buck.

A couple weeks ago I decided to take the scenic route home from work. Big mistake! Luckily the insurance is covering the damage. Is there anything I should check before I accept the car back?

how fast were you going . the car held up quite nice for such a large deer . did someone get to keep the meat ?

I was probably going 35-40mph. The deer didn't die immediately and I didn't have anything with me to finish the job. It was the start of deer season here in WV so I'm sure one of the next cars to go by stopped to collect him.
