You'll find the motor regularly hits 225F (at least that's with the 1.4L). That is by default to improve engine efficiency. My old Toyota never got above 205F.
Well I have the 1.8 and that thing always runs hot. Sometimes I can smell it.

So I swapped relays and the fan (assuming the radiator) didn't move. How would I go about getting it to move or run. I let it run, swapped heat and ac and nothing it just sat there. Now that I think of it , I don't ever remember seeing it move or heard it ever.
What I assumed was fixed was indeed not. Overheat light on again with smoke pouring out of the front grill. This vehicle is slowly heading towards lemon status.
