You did put the fitting in the 2nd O2 bung right? Just want to make sure it's set up correctly.
Other than that, which J fitting did you get? There are at least 2 sizes, maybe if you got the shorter one the sensor is not removed enough from the exhaust to read clean.
Using the J-fitting should allow you to not have to do this. I have been running a J-fitting for about 10k miles with no issues. If you're using trifecta, turn the rear O2 codes off in the tune program (EZ Flash?) before you flash the tune.
If you're using another tuner (VTuners or HPTuners/EFILive), have them send you an updated tune or turn the appropriate codes off in the DTC section.
Pretty much what Dubbs said, make sure its on the 2nd o2 sensor (farthest away from motor) I bought this one and have yet to get a CEL Amazon.com: Vibrant 11620 J-Style Oxygen Thread: Automotive
Just pop the hood of your car. Is the J-fitting visible next to the turbo in the downpipe? (It would be right there... extremely visible).
If it's not there then it should be in the right hole.
