For $130-$190 I'd have to be high to get that ****.
That $ on these little calipers I'd just powdercoat mine and have a huge array of choices.
powder is a bad idea for parts that need to evacuate heat.
however...maybe some 'tricky' polishing in certain spots would do wonders...but rust would easily attack that bare metal...
idk...powder is a very bad idea for things that need to dissipate heat. simply put...the plastic insulates the heat where the ceramic in the paint will transfer.
but then again, the fluid is rated at 400*...that's like emergency only temps....and i would definitely want my fluid to not be boiling in an emergency brake zone.
i'm thinking maybe a zink/nickel coating or a nickel coating would do...chorme maybe if you will?? but expensive...and definitely unique. hmm....i wonder if POR-15 would have anything for iron. i knwo they do anodizing kits, maybe we could 'upgrade' to aluminum calipers.
