Passenger headlight shuts off after 5-10 seconds

I am having a strange problem. My passenger side headlamp shuts off after 5-10 seconds. I have replaced the bulbs (twice) to no avail. I checked the wiring and all seems OK. If it did not come on at all I would know the path to trace, but this on then off is making me nuts! Anyone have any ideas?

Connections Checked.

I did check the ground connections (it has a 0 ohm connection to the battery), and starts out at 12V. Why it then shuts off confounds me. It is very consistent. I was suspecting a relay gone bad, but looking at the wiring diagram

hanve you tried swapping the bulbs side to side? Sometimes a bulb filament can detach when it is on and heats up for awhile.

Yep. Tried that. I am going to try a new body control unit tomorrow, unless someone talks me out of it.

May be a stupid question, but are you using standard bulbs or LED?
