Sorry no pics, but I took a piece of aluminum I had laying around and cut it to the width of the card holder (approx. 2.5 in) and approx. 7.5 in long, bent into an L shape. Filed the edges so it was not ragged and stuck it in the card holder. With velcro on the back of my phone and the other piece on the aluminum, it holds my phone using the torque app at a nice place for viewing. You can use it upright or hanging down, so it is versatile.The downside is you either block the radio controls, or the heat/AC, but it is in good position for viewing. Sorry no pics, but I am not entirely computer literate.

Hmm, what about a longer piece, bent first in an L as you suggest, but then doubling back to form a T, so that you can position centered between the two. You could block BOTH that way! I mean, maybe you could position so you don't block either?
