Plastic intake manifold splitting at the seams how many had this happen ?

I noticed when I did the pcv mod on my intake removed from car ....that there was some seams that were not right looking they looked like they were splitting now that I want to remove it again and port it I'm thinking it might be better to buy a new one since I watch a Dyno video and a guy said he found out he had a cracked intake and it looked pretty much like mine although I have no low boost or uneven idle issues thinking heat does this to it since they run this engine at 204 to 213 constant on the thermostat , I recently put a lower thermostat from a volt from a video I watched it's a 179 degree and I run 180 to 190 now constant ..anyone have this issue ????

The only issue I've had was breaking a vacuum line from the brake booster to the intake manifold. After so long JB weld just doesn't work and it's time to replace it. Problem is, I haven't found a single replacement that isn't this crappy ass plastic.

There's is one although I don't know how available it is anymore Racer x finally made one out of aluminum but it's not cheap , they were talking about a prototype years ago I guess it's a thing now . They advertise on here in the vendor section I bought a new one for 100 bucks GM although it had the same seam gaps as in that pic and as my old one I put silicone on it who knows if it will leak I ported it the throttle body section was terrible there were at least a 1/4 in rise inside were the seam was this intake was not designed for performance at all .

It's 549 .00 bieng there the only ones making it I guess they cornered the market it's a good looking intake although here in Ca, they would redline me for sure I'm up for my first smog check in a few months I have a 2013 so it's been 8 years I here's they had a new feature that can tell if your car is tuned and it will automatically fail the test don't know if that's true or not but here it's a visual , and a pipe sniff test at different RPMs
