Plastic trim on the roof is not sticks to the roof anymore

This happened on my Sonic as well. When I took it to the dealer, they fixed it under warranty. However, you should be able to have them order the little tabs that hold that trim down.
From the looks of it, the double sided tape on the tab as just lost its stickiness. My tab actually broke. Either way, it’s fixable!

My car is Korean built. I'm happy to hear that on an US built so we can say it's not a Korean supplier or workmanship problem. My warranty is ended but it started before the warranty ends. I said it to the service in 2014 but they forgot to write it to the work order and i forgot it too. I better call my lawyer, who is also my dad

I have the same issue but I am getting water in the car. No sunroof. Windsheild was replaced about 5 years ago so I'm looking to have it resealed. Any chance this could be causing a leak? Otherwise I'm tempted to just gorilla glue it back on and drive it until the wheels fall off.
I doubt it, both of mine came off and everything's normal. Just did a quick search and many people are saying it's just for looks, so that's probably not your problem.
