Hello everyone...
I went to my local Chevy dealership yesterday and they didn't really have much available, so I browsed on Carmax and found a 2014 Sonic LT. I'll admit, I don't know much about the Sonic and I have a few questions before I decide to complete my order. It's the sedan (not hatchback) and it's the 1.8 (not the 1.4.) I'm currently driving my wife's Expedition to work (roughly 100 miles a day) and I need something better on fuel, lol.
Normally, I'd go to the dealership and check it out first hand, but the Sonic is currently in Wisconsin and will be shipped.
My questions are...
Is the 1.8 as good as the 1.4 turbo? It seems like every since review I've seen is for the 1.4 turbo.
Is this vehicle friendly for... uh... "large" drivers? Would a guy that's 6'2 350 be comfortable driving this vehicle?
Are they pretty dependable and reliable vehicles? I was looking at the Cruze as well and they're notoriously bad vehicles.
Any information you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated!
