Power Window Circuit

I have an LS and am trying to add power windows. Before anyone starts that I should have gotten it in the first place, I got it used for a good deal so I didn't have a choice.

Does anyone know what sort of power I can easily get to that doesn't turn off until the door is opened? Like the radio

what's in the power window fuse location you have now?
I'm also assuming there will be a relay...perhaps in the mega fuse location under the hood??

looking at an online PDF manual... fuse 36 and 37 are power window fuses.
there's also the cigarette lighter and seat heater fuse locations to check

fuse #40 is power window express up and down

Turns out that I do have those fuses, I figures they would have left them out with nothing to use them for.
I found another thread that listed passenger window as a yellow/black and brown/yellow wire in the kick panel.

It appears that the driver side motor does all the controlling and is where the switches hook up to. It has two large pins and 5 small ones, where the passenger only has the two for power.
Now I just need to figure out which pins go to which switch.

I still haven't been able to figure out what the pins on the driver motor do.
I confirmed that the passenger motor I got works, 2 pins and 12v makes it move.

However the driver motor has an additional 5 small pins and does not move when 12v is applied to the large ones.
I am thinking that the small pins are supposed to hook to the switch and that will tell it to go... or I got a broken motor

I pulled the connector out of the driver motor and there looks to be a lot of stuff going on. I can't find any diagrams online to help though

The extra pins on the driver motor probably have to do with the express up/down.

Just finished the install, I ended up removing that whole controller piece and soldering wires straight to the motor.
I got power by removing the fuse, attaching a quick disconnect, and adding an inline fuse.

Other than that stuff it was pretty straight forward.
Cost me about $100 total

Also removed the door lock posts while I was in there.
I don't see why they couldn't make them flush when locked like the cruze :blankface:
