So thrilled to have my Sonic back. I got moved to a new job site last week and now have to cross the 9-mile long San Mateo bridge, and spend an hour in traffic each way. Having the 'Loader makes that commute more bearable.

It was beyond frustrated after the engine swap to have the knock sensor issues. What was suppose to be a glorious day, turned to sh¡t. Sooooo glad I was able to step back and sleep on it, and realize it was something so simple.

I drove it all over the place today just to be sure everything was good to go. God I love this car. I feel so complete when I'm driving it.

Drove the 'Loader to work finally. Only been to this job in my tactical back-up bucket.

Spoiler: I'm gonna brag a lil bit.

It seemed like everyone in the parking lot stopped and swiveled 180° as I passed through to find a spot. That is like insta-boner to a car builder. I need to hurry up and get the BOV back in so I can start blowing kisses again. #yeshomo

Congrats on the new addition to your family, and the reunion of your car.. I understand the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) I wish programmers would understand that... Ah, yes. The S&M bridge.
I heve commuted on it for far too many years. 15 years to GTE Lenkurt, San Carlos and 3 years to Axon Instruments, Foster City.
I remember going to my GTE job interview when there still was the one lane each way lift section. Two weeks later when I started commuting thay had opened the high rise, thankfully.

I gots the turbo "Death Whine"

Was hoping to keep this OEM turbo from the engine swap, and maybe sell of the VT turbo for some cash to throw at my loan. But this thing is screaming bloody murder.

I was gonna try to get through to the weekend, but the whine is getting worse and I don't want the bushings to fail and suck all my oil through my compressor and intake piping.

Time to bust out the O'douls and Death Metal for some weeknight wrenching.

But putting the stock clutch back in kind of took care of that. It is strange though after being on the hunt for power for 2 years, I have to relearn how to stop trying to think of ways to squeeze more power out of her. The stock clutch is kind of the cure.

Now the race to pay off the loan gets real. I guess I'm chasing financial power now.

So it continues......

Well, on my morning ride to work, I got the overheating bells and whistles.

Pulled off the freeway and investigated. My serpentine belt snapped, and tangled itself up real good, ripping out and decapitating my exhaust cam positioner plug.

Gonna get her towed home, and see if I can get a belt. But the plug for the cam positioner won't be an on-the-shelf kind of part.

I could use a little assistance. If any of y'all can find the belt routing diagram and post it here, that would be very helpful.

Hopefully the belt can be fished in there without having to remove the intermediate bracket that goes between the engine and the motor mount.

But I have a feeling that I'll want to remove all that stuff to get enough access to infall and tension the belt anyway.

They have one in stock, $25. Heading out now to pick it up.

There's a decent video someone uploaded to youtube. he tried to fish it in there without removing the bracket and then had to go back and remove the bracket because he couldn't get past the bracket and the tensioner.
